With your SACCO — never with Kinga. Kinga is the software your community runs on; the money itself stays with your SACCO. Your Pochi shows exactly what your SACCO is holding for you, and every movement is listed in the Pochi history. Top-ups from M-Pesa are free, so the full amount lands.
This demo is a sandbox — no real money moves at all. In production, every shilling is protected by maker-checker approvals (two pairs of eyes before money moves), an append-only ledger that can never be quietly edited, and data that stays in Kenya under the Data Protection Act.
The demo runs fully offline once installed. The production app is designed offline-first: on a weak signal your payment queues on the phone and settles automatically when the network returns.
Kinga is built for USSD too — any phone that can make a call can save. Dial the shortcode and follow the menu: no data bundle, no app, no problem.
What you're holding is the proof of concept. The Play Store release ships with the production build — until then, the demo APK installs straight from this page via the QR code.
We are launching with boda boda SACCOs and going deep there first. Other transport SACCOs follow, then farmers, women's groups, cooperatives, SMEs, schools, churches, NGOs and county governments — the platform is already built to welcome them by configuration, not new code.
